The construction company BUILDING ART, based in Petroupoli, Attica, and engaged in building renovations and restorations, was founded in 1993 and continues to provide its services to this day.
The company undertakes the restoration and restoration of listed buildings, using traditional and modern methods and techniques, to highlight their morphological and architectural elements. The restoration - repair of monuments and traditional buildings is carried out based on specific quality criteria.
By the term restoration, we mean the restoration of buildings to their original form by repair - maintenance of the whole or their parts. Such buildings, such as listed buildings and buildings in settlements characterized as traditional, present difficulties, especially in terms of their static adequacy, but also the use of materials that are not common today.
Restoration works have common points with those of renovation, but require the use of more skilled personnel, both craftsmen and inspectors. Applications of sculpture and artistic decorations are applied, for the best restoration and approximation of these preserved buildings. Our goal is for all the buildings we participate in to be characterized by high aesthetics. Thus we offer a beautiful living space, which harmonizes, at the same time, with the wishes of the users, with its environment, as well as with its era. We take advantage of the characteristics of the environment and microclimate of the area, so that thermal comfort is achieved.
